The generoisty of the Bullmastiff Association Of Ireland was hugely appreciated at a recent sponsored charity walk in aid of Irish Guide Dogs which took place along the banks of the river Boyne in Drogheda Co Louth . "IKE" seen above represented our club , where we had huge interest in the breed and hope to work with the Irish Guide Dogs in the future.

The Bullmasiff Association Of Ireland goes from Strength to Strength with the huge positive feedback we received fom the European Show . The club awarded Special Gifts to The Euro 09 Dog & Bitch and to The Junior Euro Dog & Bitch . Two Club members won Top awards with Paul Conway and Marie Proctors , Prince Rocco taking Junior Euro Dog & Best Junior , Kieran and Ellen O Connells Watercress Tipsy Woman taking Junior Euro Bitch . Congratulations to Glenice from the UK winning Best Of Breed and Dawn & Ian for taking Reserve Best Of Breed with their Bitch. All these where presented with Commemorative Saches by our Honorary Member Mrs Nellie Abeale ( Aus ) .

A great day was had at the National Show Centre on the 1st of March , when the Bullmastiff Association Of Ireland held its first Open Breed Club Show . Mrs Mary Walsh was our Judge on the day with the help of Mr Vincent O Brien as Ring Steward . Special thanks must go out to Mr Albert Byrne ( Bosch Dog Food ), Stephen Henley, Kieran & Ellen O Connell , Paul Conway and all the other Association members who helped make this day .A special word of thanks to Mrs Joan Walsh the Secretary Of the Rough Collie Club Of Ireland for the help and advice this Lady gave us Thankyou.
